Leftover hours
A night is crossing midnight in Lincoln (Central Time). Monday 4 pm to Tuesday 12:30 am is 1 night. Monday 4 pm to Monday 11 pm is 0 nights.
Friday 5 pm to Thursday 5 pm is 6 nights — same clock, no leftover. Time after the drop-off clock on pick-up day is leftover hours, billed at that share of the night (1 hour = 1/24 of that day’s overnight rate). Holiday and additional-dog rates apply. Monday 6 am to Wednesday 6 pm is 2 nights + 12 leftover hours.
